Peace of Mind
We provide comprehensive and safe treatment in a relaxed, warm, peaceful environment.
Dental Services
We provide all aspects of dental care, including:
Hygiene Therapy
Hygiene Therapy is important not just for your dental health but for your general health as well. Recent research has shown an association between poor dental health and certain systemic diseases such as heart disease, Alzheimer’s and diabetes.
Patients with diseased gums release higher levels of bacterial components into the bloodstream, where they can travel to other organs in the body.
Make a regular visit to YES Dental as part of your dental hygiene programme.
Bridges
Dental Bridges are used when there are fewer teeth to replace or when the missing teeth are only on one side of the mouth. Bridges are usually made of a precious metal base, with porcelain placed over the metal to match the shade and shape of the teeth beside the gap.
White Fillings
White fillings is the process of bonding a material called composite to your teeth. They can be used in any area of the mouth and blend in with your teeth to look invisible. Clean white teeth can work wonders for your smile and increase your self-confidence. If your teeth are damaged, white fillings can create the same effect.
Cosmetic Dentistry & Whitening
Cosmetic dentistry is generally used to refer to any dental work that improves the appearance of teeth, gums and/or bite. It primarily focuses on improvement in dental aesthetics in colour, position, shape, size, alignment and overall smile appearance.
Teeth can stain and discolour for various reasons – drinking tea, coffee, red wine, smoking, or even eating certain foods. It is almost impossible to have a lifestyle that will not stain your teeth, but fortunately, we can help remove these stains and brighten your teeth in weeks. Ask us about our teeth whitening service.
Implants
Dental implants have a very high success rate, and they look and feel just like normal teeth, which means no one can tell you have them! Durability is good, too, with implants still functioning well after ten years.
If you are wondering if you might benefit from dental implants, come and see us for a no-obligation consultation about whether they might be a suitable treatment for you.
Root Canal Therapy
Roots can become infected in several ways, and if the nerve in a tooth is damaged due to decay or injury, the tooth can become infected and cause pain. A root filling, also known as Endodontics, treats the damaged tooth by cleaning out the bacteria in the roots and replacing part of the tooth with a filling.
A tooth consists of a crown, the part you can see and a root system with nerves that extend into the jaw bone and hold the tooth in position.
Bite Splints / Mouthguards
Did you know that sports and recreational activities are the most frequent cause of dental injuries?
Mouthguards bought over the counter provide limited protection, are often uncomfortable, and regularly impede our breathing and speech.
A custom-fitted mouthguard provides the maximum level of protection and comfort, minimising movement and restriction to breathing as you exercise.
Examinations & X-Rays
We do routine dental examinations, including x-rays.
This involves assessing the soft tissues in and around the mouth, as well as checking all the teeth with a mirror and dental probe. X-rays are often used to “see” what is happening between the teeth or around the ends of the teeth.
Regular dental examinations are recommended to maintain optimal oral health and can save you money by detecting problems early.
Fissure Sealants
Fissure sealants are a safe and painless way of protecting your teeth from tooth decay. It is a plastic coating that covers the chewing surfaces of the back of adult teeth. The sealant forms a hard shield that keeps food and bacteria from getting into the tiny grooves in the teeth.
Oral Surgery
We can provide various forms of oral surgery or refer you to a specialist.
For those patients who do not have health insurance, routine extractions are offered at a non-specialist rate but carried out in a specialist setting by a qualified Dental Surgeon.
